This June, we hosted my cousin Jacob and his friend, Chris, and my brother, Andrew (his 4th vist?!).

Jacob is my (not so) baby cousin who stopped by at the end of his big Euro trip before starting medical school at UT Southwestern. He was traveling with multiple friends, and brought his childhood friend, Chris, along with him to Barcelona. They were quite tired from their backpacking trip, so this Barcelona leg was a bit more chill. During this visit, we tried some amazing duck paella at Arume (when we couldn't get into El Cortico), ate at El Cortico and saw Pope Leo in Raval, watched some live music in Fort Pienc, played volleyball, and had tapas with Andrew when he got into town!

Andrew was stopping for a few days after a trip to Copenhagen with friends. He brought back some amazing cardamom buns and we had a relaxed, short visit. While he was here, we had tapas with the cousins, stooped some furniture, finally tried a new local bar called Bar Patata, checked out the bar (Tope) at the top of the Hoxton and got incredible views, saw the gigantes of La Pedrera to celebrate Gaudí, and danced in the streets at Fiesta de Fort Pienc.
