Kevin and I went home in February/March and had not had guests in a few months, so it was fun to get back into hosting! In April, we hosted my old college friend, Parisa, and her fiancé, Paul, and I hosted Kevin's cousin, Christine.

Fun fact: The last time Parisa and I hung out abroad was in the UK back in 2014, which was the same trip where I first got to know Kevin-- she's been there from the beginning! Parisa and Paul had just spent some time in the UK and were spending a few days with us to explore Barcelona before flying back to Tulsa. We had tapas at Cafe del Centre and enjoyed some live jazz, had coffee at D Origen, walked Old Town and Passeig de Gracia, and had meals out (Cierzo, El Puestu and they tried/loved vermut!), but also at home. Such a fun time reconnecting with lots of laughter.

Kevin's cousin, Christine, was here after completing a long cruise across the Atlantic and around Spain! Unfortunately, Kevin had to go back to the states for work, so he didn't get to host, but we still had a lovely time. She was only here for a day, but we definitely packed a lot in. We walked Passeig de Gracia, she bought a souvenir twilly from Hermès, had lunch at Cierzo, bought their new puppy a dog toy, walked around Sagrada Familia, and had tapas at Puntal. She left early in the morning and made it back in time to have dinner with Kevin in Minneapolis!
