In November, we hosted Kevin's parents, our friend, Sarah, and my brother, Andrew.

Kevin's parents visited at the end of October into early November. Their visit is detailed in a previous post titled "Being Tourists in Our New City."

After a morning beach volleyball session of twos |
Our friend from Wisconsin, Sarah, came to visit on her way to a work trip in the Netherlands. We had a fun time walking around, eating great food, starting the Apple TV+ series, Silo, and playing volleyball. We had our first morning/pre-work beach session with Sarah and our friend, Daniel, and it was a lot of fun!

A large part of Andrew's visit is detailed in my "Valencia" post because we went and spectated him in the Valencia marathon, however, he did spend Thanksgiving here with us and several more days enjoying Barcelona (his 4th time here???). Kevin went to work on Thanksgiving and I cooked, we hung out between touring apartments (we toured our current apartment while he was here!), had great food and great coffee, and walked through historic sites in the city. I saw La Sagrada Familia up close for the first time up close since being here during this visit and Andrew and I stopped at Mercadona and quickly walked home with ice cream bars. We stopped at Christmas markets, played volleyball, and got pitchers with friends at La Oveja Negra. Lots of fun with Andrew here!
