Spades supremacy for me and Sammy

Sammy and Grant visited Barcelona as part of their Spain tour for their late honeymoon and post-match day celebration (Grant matched in Chicago!). They started their trip in Barcelona, traveled to Madrid and Sevilla, and ended their trip back in Barcelona. During their visits, we took lots of walks around the city from old town all the way to Gracia and Parc Güell, ate at Cierzo (twice, because they loved it so much), and played lots of The Game and Spades (Sammy and I defeated Kevin and Grant, of course). Two things about Sammy: she is one of the most witty people I know and she never turns down a drink; so, their visit also included lots of pit stops for vermut and many, many laughs. Some of my favorite moments were theorizing about menu changes at Bodega La Palma, having drinks at a cozy bar called Zim, and laughing until I cried while hearing Sammy and Grant recount their story about eating red shrimp at a fancy restaurant on a rainy day in Madrid. So good to see and spend time with these two!
